Who doesn’t like crêpes with their cup of tea?
This tea party was hosted by the Miami Moms Blog at the Intercontinental of Doral, Miami. Not only was this event a success, but it was also the first annual Mommy and Me Sweetheart Tea Party presented by Kendall Regional Hospital.
The reasoning behind this wonderful event happening in February is that it’s the national month of Heart Health Awareness. They called the tea party the “sweetheart tea party” for this reason. “There’s no better way to be a “sweetheart” than to monitor your own heart health” says the Miami Moms Blog.
During the event, the Kendall Regional Medical Center provided guests with valuable information related to heart health and to grab the children’s attention, each received a teddy bear and was guided through steps on how to make a proper health checkup.
Thanks to the Mommy and Me Sweetheart Tea Party, bakerly introduced the guests to the tasty crêpes and French pancakes to go. Turns out, they blend very well with a cup of tea! Not to brag, but we’re pretty sure that after all the nice feedback we got from the Miami Moms Blog, everybody will be drinking their afternoon tea with a little crêpe to go on the side.
