Ingredients

  • 2 cups ricotta cheese

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 4 tbsp cooking oil

  • 8 tbsp butter

  • 4 tsp maple syrup

  • Powdered sugar, for serving
Instructions

Raspberry Filled French Toast

Full Time: 20 minutes

1

Spread each bakerly Sliced Brioche with about 1/4 cup ricotta cheese. Place fresh raspberries on 4 of the slices, then top each with another slice of brioche to form sandwiches.

2

In a shallow, high-sided plate, whisk together the egg and milk. Dip both sides of each sandwich into the mixture, letting it soak briefly but not become soggy.

3

In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil and butter over medium-low heat. Stir gently to combine.

4

Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook slowly until golden brown on one side. Flip and cook the other side until golden and crisp.

5

Remove from the pan and cut each sandwich in half. Drizzle with maple syrup and dust generously with powdered sugar. Serve warm and enjoy!
